Matt has extensive experience in naming and merger studies, stakeholder research and the HE tuition fees and bursary market. He manages major brand and corporate identity research projects and is involved in developing website usability-testing methodologies.
Matt has significant experience of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies in education, the public and corporate sectors. His skills are underpinned by a background in psychological research and theory; an interest that also led to his accreditation as an HE lecturer by the Open University.
Before setting up dh insight, Matt worked as a Senior Consultant for another education market research agency and prior to that at both the University of Derby and the Open University.
Matt is a graduate of Nottingham Trent University. He is also an Associate Member of The Market Research Society, The British Psychological Society and The Higher Education Academy.

Kate has a wealth of experience in managing multi-faceted research projects for both education and public sector bodies throughout the UK. Such projects have involved researching a wide range of stakeholder groups from young people through to senior managers. She has a particular interest in diversity research, working with so-called ‘hard to reach’ client groups.
Kate has a background in both academic and market research; before setting up dh insight she worked as a Senior Consultant for another education market research agency and prior to that as a researcher in the Centre for the Study of Human Relations at the University of Nottingham.
Kate is a graduate of the universities of Nottingham and Durham and an accredited NLP practitioner. She is also an Associate Member of the Market Research Society.
